The family of intelligent transmitters from Industrial Interface allows virtually any analogue or frequency signal to be converted to a high level mA or voltage output.

The CHAMELEON has MODBUS RS232/485 communication options as well as relay output options. Uses include stand-alone signal conditioning functions and operating as remote I/O modules for SCADA systems.

The FRESCON unit  accepts any input between 0 and 250kHz and provides a high level current or voltage output. The unit can also average the input frequency, but allow for a QuickStep change if required.

The MATHSCON featuring two high level input channels can linearise each separately and then perform a mathematical function on them. The unit can re-transmit the result on a high level current or voltage signal. The Mathscon has a wide range of mathematical functions including + - x / square root and averaging.

The CHAMELEON Programmable Function Converter is a highly configurable maths, logic and conversion unit. It has 3 analogue input channels, 2 analogue output channels and 2 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs.

The Chameleon also has an RS232 / RS485 communications channel which can be configured to the Modbus protocol. The extensive mathematical functions include square root extraction, look up tables, linearisation, logic and comparison functions, steam table functions, multiple PID control loops, signal integration and timer blocks.

The vast extent of its functionality is harnessed with a powerful but easy to use spreadsheet style programming interface, enabling simple functionality to be learned and programmed in minutes. The CHAMELEON is the ultimate problem solver!
