THE COLLECTION
In 1998 Tom Murray held an exhibition of his 23 surviving photographs of The Beatles.
The photographs were viewed in public for the first time since they were taken. One thing
that visitors often commented on was how fabulous and vivid the colours were. The tone
and definition are astonishing for their age, as the original slides were kept in the dark
in an envelope for so many years. They were only viewed in private a handful of times,
and have lost very little over time.
Each image in this collection is an exclusive UK edition, limited to 195 pieces.
Each piece is individually numbered and hand signed by Tom Murray.
LANDSCAPES: 161/4" high x 24" wide (413mm high x 610mm wide)
PORTRAITS: 24" high x 161/4" wide (610mm high x 413mm wide)
All limited edition pieces are presented in a deep bevel, paper-wrapped French mount.
Each mount is hand made using the finest archival quality materials.
Exclusive Collector’s Edition brochure is only available with Limited Editions from
this collection. It is a complimentary piece and is not available for sale as a separate item.

Brian Roylance founded Genesis Publications in 1974. His aim was to start a unique publishing company true to the arts of printing and craftsmanship and to establish a community shared by its authors and readers. Years later, in 1995, he found himself explaining the nature of hand-bound books in an interview with the New York Times and noted, "I suppose to some extent I am stuck in a time warp. I don't know of many people who go to this much trouble to produce a book anymore. But I think there is a future for it."

Today many other publishers have been inspired by the work of Brian Roylance but few, if any, have matched his eye for quality or the centuries-old traditions of hand book-binding that Genesis employ. As a result, over the 30 years since work began on our first book, Genesis has developed a worldwide reputation for producing exceptional signed limited editions.
