The Schroth Sport HANS device is a new model that has been introduced to cater for the competitor that competes on a smaller budget. The Sport version has all the safety features and is FIA homologated as its more expensive Pro version, giving exactly the same protection but costing 20% less!!
The Sports price has been reduced due to its new manufacturing process. Unlike the Pro that has an expensive hollow Carbon fibre construction, the new Sport series HANS is made with technically advanced thermoplastics reinforced with carbon fibers, this makes it around one kilogramme heaver but has saved dramtically on its manufacturing cost. It is this saving that has been passed on to you. The process of manufacture does make the Sport a heavier device than the Pro version, this weight is not carried on your head but on your shoulders so it is not noticeable when sat in the competition car.
The Sport Series HANS will be available in the two most popular sizes, 20° Medium which fits up to an 18 inch or 45.5cm collar size, and a 20° Large for larger neck sizes.
It comes with the Schroth patented SlipStop Plus surface (now with additional winglets on the harness contact surface) and has the same leading performance and safety as the carbon fibre Pro HANS device! For comfort and custom fit all Schroth HANS have interchangeable Nomex covered padding systems.
Delivery of these versions will be available in May but we recommend that you order yours today as demand is expected to be very high, and unfortunately supply short. Once an order is received you will be placed on a list, although you will not be charged for the item is ready for shipment.
