What is e-raze?
The e-raze Rejuvi tattoo removal system is a unique method of tattoo ink extraction which is designed to completely remove your tattoo ink pigments from the body. The treatment has been extensively researched, developed and tested for over ten years, and in use worldwide for over five years.
The treatment utilizes the same methods as having your original tattoo. The removal formula is delivered to the ink using a tattoo or permanent make-up machine, therefore the treatment can only be performed by a trained tattoo or permanent make-up artist.
The extraction cream is specifically designed to blend with and capture the original tattoo ink. The formula then forms into a thicker substance which the skin easily pushes out taking the captured tattoo ink with it. A number of treatments are normally required to completely remove a tattoo. After the treatment course is finished the skin will return to its natural state over a period of months.
The benefits of the e-raze system over other methods of tattoo removal are numerous. The e-raze treatment is substantially less painful than other removal methods and the treatment course and subsequent tattoo removal is much faster and more effective than laser removal options. There is also no need to avoid direct sunlight after treatment, (as is necessary with laser) and aftercare is relatively simple.
The e-raze system is suitable and effective for all types of both professional or home made tattoos and permanent make-up on most areas of the body apart from sensitive areas near the eyes or areas where high levels of moisture occur (where special aftercare considerations may be required). The treatment is not colour selective (unlike laser) and acts on all colour pigments equally.
What e-raze is not
It is important not to confuse the e-raze Rejuvi tattoo removal system with any other method of tattoo removal. The e-raze treatment can only be administered by a trained tattoo or permanent make up artist.
e-raze is not - a home applied treatment to fade your tattoo.
e-raze is not - a skin coloured cover up tattoo.
e-raze is not - a acid or bleach based fading treatment.
e-raze is not - a medical or surgical treatment.
How it Works
|

|
The tattoo remover is applied in a similar manner to having a tattoo or micropigmentation applied using the same equipment.

|
|
The tattoo extraction formula gets to work almost immediately drawing the original tattoo ink upwards through the skin.
A crust containing the tattoo ink will form over the treated area, over the next couple of weeks as the skin heals it will push more of the unwanted ink out. The crust will start to naturally fall away taking that unwanted tattoo ink with it. It’s likely that some secondary crusting will occur, again containing more tattoo ink. The treated area must be kept dry after treatment and while the crust is on the skin. See aftercare section for more information.
The remaining tattoo ink will also be lightened and moved closer to the epidermis the layer of skin that is naturally being constantly shed.

The e-raze system is so effective it is technically feasible although unlikely that a tattoo can be removed in a single treatment however it is likely that entire parts of your tattoo may be removed in a single treatment and unlike laser treatments the e-raze system works equally on all colour pigments.
Generally most tattoos can be completely removed in just three to four treatments, although some older tattoos may require more.**

* Quoted figures are based on trials of a series of 98 patients published in Cosmetic Dermatology April, 2001. It should be noted that the treatment method used in these trials was different than that currently employed by e-raze for the majority of treatments. (Download pdf)
During the trial tattoo and permanent make removal was attempted in one session using multiple passes of tattooing and cream application (6-10 times). No subsequent treatments were administered after the healing process to attempt removal of any remaining pigment.
The e-raze method applies the same principle technique however only 2 passes are involved per treatment reducing discomfort and the potential chance of scarring. Further treatments are subsequently administered at intervals of no less than four weeks until all pigment is removed or subsequent treatments would prove ineffective.
** Actual number of treatments required can vary depending on your individual circumstances and condition of original tattoo, complete removal cannot be guaranteed.
