By using Janey May's website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
PRIVACY
For each visitor to our web page, our web server does not automatically recognise information regarding the domain or email address. We do however collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email. We also aggregate information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded. It is not sold to third parties, but used to improve the content of our web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for individual consumers and used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to receive emails from us in the future, please let us know by sending an email to us requesting removal from the mailing list.

You understand and agree that the owners of this site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but notlimited to, damages for loss of profits, data or other intangible losses (even if the owners of this site have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the product(s) and or service(s) or any misuse of the product(s) and or service(s)in a manner not in accordance with their intended use.

All rights, including copyright, on this website are owned by Janey May's and/or its suppliers.
SECURITY
This website uses industry standard practices including 128-bit encrypted Secure Socket Layers (SSL) technology to safeguard access to your personal information.
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
We do not store your credit/debit card details on our database. We use secure payment processes for all card transactions and your information is encrypted.
PAYMENT
You can choose to pay for the goods you order by credit or debit card via Protx secure encrypted server or PayPal.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD DETAILS TO US BY POST OR EMAIL.
You can also pay with a cheque or postal order but please note that your goods will be dispatched to you once your cheque or postal order has been cleared by our bank.
ORDERS
All orders placed on this website are subject to availability and acceptance. All orders we receive are deemed as an offer to purchase goods/services from us. The automatic email we send you when you have placed an order with us, represents an acknowledgement of your offer to purchase. The acceptance of your order by us and the conclusion of a contract between us will take place when we send you an order update email confirming that we have dispatched the goods to you. Janey May's reserves the right to refuse any order received and in such a case, a full refund will be given. You undertake that all details you provide to Janey May's for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.
All Envelopment orders are confirmed by email with each client for accuracy and full payment being made prior to a final order being placed with Envelopments USA.
VAT & PRICES
All prices displayed are in British Pounds Sterling and for all orders VAT at 15% is included on goods purchased.
PRODUCTS
The dimensions of goods provided on this website are approximately only. Some of the products are natural/handmade, due to this, there may be some minor variations and slight imperfections. Due to the scanning or duplication process of our graphics, colours may vary slightly to that of the merchandise. If you have any questions regarding any product, please contact us.
RETURNS (Not applicable to Envelopment Orders)
If in the unfortunate and unlikely event that goods need to be returned, please contact us (Tel: 01227 367 252) for a Return Authorisation Reference WITHIN 5 DAYS of receipt of your order. Please include a photocopy of your invoice including the Return Authorisation Reference together with the original packaging, making sure the parcel is wrapped securely. Also please ensure that you obtain 'proof of purchase' at the post Office for your returning parcel and return to:

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
You may return any unopened item within 5 days of receiving it, for a full product cost refund. We wil also issue a full product cost refund if in the unlikely event a product is found to be faulty.
We will issue you a refund once we have received and processed the item (please allow up to 14 days). Please note that we can only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our error.
We are happy to exchange unwanted items providing they are unopened: however, we reserve the right to charge for postage.
We will also exchange items if in the unlikely event they are found to be faulty in production.
If your order qualified for free postage and packaging, and you decide to return some items that would bring your order below the free postage limit, we will refund your goods minus our standard postage charge of £1.85.
LIABILITY
This section applies to the extent permitted by Law. For the avoidance of doubt, Janey May's do not exclude or limit liability for (a) personal injury (including sickness and death) where such injury results from Janey May's negligence or wilful default, or that misrepresentation. Janey May's does not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserves the right to change inforamtion, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services. If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that you order an item and the price published on the Site is incorrect for any reason, we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish to fulfil your order at this price. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you choose, to cancel the order altogether. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause, we shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms. Janey May's will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them.
MODIFICATIONS TO WEBSITE CONTENT
Janey May's reserve the right at all times, to make changes to the content of this website, including Terms and Conditions. Prices and products are subject to change without notification. You will be subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions in place at the time of your visit to the website. Each of the items on this Terms and Conditions shal be construed separately and independently of each other and the invalidity of any one part will not affect the validity of any other part. RESOLVING COMPLAINTS
If you have any reason to complain about our service, please email us stating what your complaint is about. We will respond within 3 working days to resolve the complaint and to offer a timescale for the resolution of the complaint. We aim to resolve complaints within 5 working days.
EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Janey May's will not be responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
LAW, JURISDICTION & LANGUAGE
This website, Janey May's, all its content, any other activity that takes place or relates to this website and any contract that arises as a result of using this website are governed by the laws of England. By using this website you agree, as we do, to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. All contracts that result from the usage of this website are concluded in English.
SHIPPING
At this time we regret that we are only able to offer FREE delivery to UK mainland addresses on orders over £20.00. ALL other destinations outside of the UK mainland will incur shipping costs regardless of the order value.
Shipping for all orders excluding Envelopments are dispatched via Royal Mail. Please note that this is not an insured service and if you require additional cover e.g. Recorded Delivery, Special Delivery, please contact us to arrange this before placing your order.
PAYMENT & CARRIAGE COSTS OF ENVELOPMENTS PRODUCTS
Each order for products from the Envelopments range is placed with the USA for individual customers. Once an order is placed with Janey May's, payment is taken in full and is 'cleared' prior to the order being emailed to Envelopments USA.
A standard insured delivery charge of £13.50 is placed on orders under 25kgs packaged for dispatch and this part covers the cost of standard carriage in the UK. This service is provided by a courier or equivalent service depending on delivery address. For orders weighing over 25kgs packaged for dispatch, delivery costs will be provided, confirmed and charged to the client.
For customers outside of mainland UK, delivery charges will be assessed on an individual client basis according to weight of package, destination and method of transit.
In order to protect both you and ourselves, we are only able to ship goods to the cardholder's billing address and not to a third party or convenience addresses such as a PO Box.
PACKAGING
We are aware of the environment as a company and whenever possible, we recycle packaging when shipping orders in an attempt to reduce use of paper/cardboard, etc. Please note that all products are perfect and that only the outer packaging may be of recycled packaging, etc.
MINIMUM ORDER VALUE
We operate a minimum order value of £5.00 (£6.85 including P+P)and we offer FREE POSTAGE & PACKING on all orders over £20.00 to mainland UK addresses.
All orders under the value of £20.00 will be subject to a standard £1.85 postage and packing charge to UK mainland addresses.
ALL other destinations outside of the UK mainland will incur shipping costs according to their destination's address.
All Envelopments orders, regardless of value, will incur a delivery charge.
PROCESSING OF ORDERS
We aim to process all orders within 3 working days from receipt of your order, subject to payment clearance and our busy periods. Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are not deemed working days. If the processing time is likely to take longer than 3 working days, we will notify you.
ORDER STATUS
Janey May's will send you an automatic order acknowledgement email upon receipt of your order (please make sure you click back to store if using PayPal to generate your completed order and email) and an order status update email will be sent to notify you that your order has been shipped. Please keep these emails for your records, as they will enable us to easily track your order in the event of a query or refund.

IMAGES
All images and descriptions are as accurate as possible and give an approximate idea of the product. We do not take responsibility for any variation in colour or size etc, as this can be altered by your individual PC monitor when viewing. If you need further information on colour, sizes or descriptions please contact us before you buy and we will be happy to assist you.
