Lake of Mentieth/Carron Dam Specials (Inc in World Championships 2009 Fips Mouche)
Get the flies that I use on the Lake and Carron Dam, tied by me to catch you fish. I spent a lot of time fishing the Lake and it paid off by winning the Boat League and doing well in other competition's. I have some flies that work for me and im sure will work for you also. I am also the Lake Record Holder with a fish of 17lb 13ozs caught and a fly tied by me using materials dyed and produced by me. The fly selections I will put together will cover everythign from boobies to dries and all are proven fish catchers.

For many years I was one of the most consistent Rods on the Mighty Loch Leven. At 3500 Acres Loch Leven is a pretty large Loch and one that you certainly want to have the right fly on at the right time. I have put together a selection of my finest patterns that I have used over the years to win many competitions and catch many beautiful trout from the Mighty Loch, which includes the first ever Double Figure fish in the Lochs History, with records dating back over 110 years without a double coming off the water until I caught the first one. For Loch Awe I have some of my own and many from Loch Awe Expert and European Silver Medal Robert Fullerton who has been capped many times for Scotland. He has fished Loch Awe for over forty years and knows the Loch better than most people. So get the right flies from the right people.
