Royal Welsh Show Llanelwedd, Builth Wells
 

The annual Royal Welsh Show is set on the permanent site of Llanelwedd, Builth Wells. Last year the show drew over 200,000 people This year there will  again be a display of top quality livestock, over 1000 trade stands and main ring entertainment and attractions every day.

      Brecon Jazz Festival - Brecon

For 3 days in August the beautiful market town of Brecon in mid Wales is transformed into a haven of music and smiling faces. Brecon Jazz features a range of jazz from traditional to avant garde in settings ranging from the town centre to the Cathedral. Set in a beautiful town within stunning Welsh countryside, Brecon Jazz continues to maintain a high reputation amongst jazz lovers and is expected to offer the same top quality specialist  music.

Usk Show - Usk

 

Usk Show always takes place on the second Saturday of September, this year it's Saturday 12th September. It's the last show of the season in Monmouthshire, and the  surrounding counties and is very popular. It has been running for over 150 years, and  undoubtedly one of the most successful one day shows in this area.

      Abergavenny Food Festival - Abergavenny

This years renowned food festival as the many before, located at the ‘Gateway to Wales’  has established itself as one of the nation’s premier food events.

Director Martin Orbach is committed to keeping it cultured, quirky and lively. “Each year we look at the core programme, building on popular events and bringing in new elements”, explains Martin. “Bearing in mind that nearly half of those attending the Festival are repeat visitors we must keep the mix just right, seasoning the tried-and-trusted with new initiatives.
